Summer Shuttle

The Alaska Zoo operates a FREE summer shuttle with a looped route between Downtown Anchorage and the Alaska Zoo. Our shuttle requires online reservations in advance. The location for pickup in Downtown Anchorage is in front of the ACVB Log Cabin at 4th and F St. The meeting location at the zoo is next to the Gift Shop, curbside at the entry to the lower parking lot. Each trip is reserved separately, both to and from the zoo.

The last shuttle to the zoo departs from Downtown at 1:30pm. The last shuttle from the zoo departs for Downtown at 2:30pm. If you plan to be at the zoo past 2:30pm, you will need to book alternate transportation (Uber, Lyft, Taxi) to return Downtown.

Please note that the zoo will closer early at 3pm on June 25th or July 16th for after-hours events.

Destination Zoo: Arrive early at the ACVB Log Cabin at 4th and F St (Downtown Anchorage):

• Departure times from Downtown: 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm.

Destination Downtown: Arrive early to the shuttle curb near the Zoo Gift Shop:

• Departure times from the Zoo: 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm.
