Summer Feedings and Tours
Visit the only zoo in the Land of the Midnight Sun. We enjoy long days of zoo operation in the summer. We are open daily from 9am to 8pm during June, July and August. Last entry is always 30 minutes before closing.
Free Shuttle between the Zoo and Downtown
We have a FREE shuttle operating Tuesdays through Saturdays from May 22 through August 8, 2026. There is no service on Sundays or Mondays. See times and all details on our shuttle reservations page. Online reservations are REQUIRED.
Animal Feeding Experiences
Pay at the gate same-day, before the time of the feeding.
Daily from May 21st through September 1st, 2026.
You feed an animal with a trained guide.
30-minute session, including time for questions and pictures.
Must be age 9 or older to participate. 10 people maximum.
Youth ages 15 and under must have a paid parent or guardian present.
Non-member rate: $30 per person plus zoo entry fees.
Zoo member rate: $20 per person
Pay at the gate same-day, no online reservations.
Feeding Animals and Times (subject to change):
10:30am: Moose and Muskox Feeding
12:30pm: Black Bear Feeding
2:30pm: Alpaca and Camel Feeding
