Community Storytime is a weekly free program sponsored by ConocoPhillips Alaska in the Zoo Gateway Hall at the entrance. No pre-registration, just arrive before 10:30am and enjoy a 30-minute free program of animal storybook reading with fun props and floor cushions. Plan ahead to take our Little Explorers Tour for kids with adults, featuring the zoo’s cutest animals! This tour is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays weekly from 11am-12pm during summer months. Zoo members have 50% off of this tour, too. Storytime (and the Little Explorers Tour) are best suited for ages 4-7 emerging readers with adults, but all ages are welcome!
