Zoo members have a 50% discount on this tour. Tour is paid for online until 8am on the day of the tour. After this point, the tour may be purchased at the zoo gate until the 11am start time. This tour is held from 11am-12pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (after Storytime) weekly through August 26th, 2026. To maximize the fun for kids, plan to attend our FREE weekly Community Storytime program sponsored by ConocoPhillips Alaska from 10:30-11am, then go to the zoo gate to pay for your Little Explorers tour! This tour ends by the alpacas in front of the Kape Espresso Tayo Coffee Shop. This tour is geared toward kids but all kids must have a paid adult with them on the tour.
