See below for our zoo member offer - each child ages 3-15 in your zoo member group on February 27th will receive this water bottle sticker! Plus $5 entry for non-member youth ages 3-15. Don’t miss this awesome day off of ASD school at the Alaska Zoo…with polar bears!

No School, Go Wild! Kids in ASD have the day off of school on February 27th, and this just so happens to be International Polar Bear Day.

Come to the zoo on February 27th to enjoy the kid's day off from ASD classes and celebrate International Polar Bear Day, in partnership with Polar Bears International. This is a day to learn about polar bears and their sea ice habitat, and the small changes we can make in our daily lives to help conserve them and their melting ice habitat. Remember the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

We have enrichment for the polar bears at 11am, a booth of hands-on polar bear items with a zoo educator from 11-Noon and a Facebook Live session at 11am for those who can't join in person.

We are also offering special perks from 10am-4pm on February 27th. For zoo members who bring kids, each youth in your group will receive a polar bear water bottle sticker (1 per child in your member group). For non-member, we are offering $5 entry per child (ages 3-15) on this day only!

We are a proud Polar Bears International Ambassador Center. Click on the logo to visit the Polar Bears International website where you will find factual and up-to-date polar bear information.
