Support Our Mission
The Alaska Zoo is a 501(c)3 non-profit operating through the use of our General Fund, money from admission fees and zoo services such as the Gift Shop and Coffee Shop. Donations from individuals, businesses and organizations foster our growth.
Our animal adoptions program offers a way to symbolically adopt a zoo animal, with the funds from adoption fees going directly to the care of zoo animals. Adoptive parents enjoy being a part of our zoo family!
Volunteer
Our volunteers are the life blood of the zoo, allowing us the extra helping hands needed to provide events and programs to the community and visitors to the state. Volunteers make the zoo thrive. Join our family!
