Bring your toddlers and young ones for Storytime programs every Wednesday at the Alaska Zoo! Your wee ones will enjoy listening as zoo educators read them animal books from our zoo collection, followed by a visit to the animal we read about (or the animal will visit us if possible!). No reservations taken, no scheduling needed. These programs are open attendance, so come to the zoo and join us!

Storytime programs are for toddlers accompanied by adults. We start every Wednesday morning at 10:30am in the Coffee Shop greenhouse, all year round! Locations on zoo grounds may vary during summer months (will post location changes). Regular admission rates apply and you can use your annual zoo membership to get in for free (no extra charge for the program).

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early on Storytime mornings so you have time to go through admissions before the 10:30am start time in the Coffee Shop Greenhouse. The Coffee Shop is open for business, so be sure to buy an espresso drink or a snack - or stay for lunch! We have a menu for kids. Your Coffee Shop purchases go to support zoo operations and animal care!
