Travel back in time to the Ice Age at the Alaska Zoo to learn about the prehistoric ancestors of the animals that live in Alaska today!

This is a brand new event at the zoo. Regular admission and membership use apply, no additional cost! We hope you will join us on Sunday, February 25th from Noon to 4pm!

Learn about mammoths, sabertooths, dire wolves, camels, porcupines, and more! Hear talks about animals like the Giant Short-faced Bear.

Collect ice-age facts in a scavenger hunt, create your own cave drawings, and watch our animals enjoy some frozen ice-age enrichment!
