Get your kids registered now for the opportunity to become “citizen scientists” during this celebrated annual tradition! Kids will explore the outdoors with experienced birders to practice their observational skills and to discover how local birds tough out the Alaska winter.
This program is for ages 6 and above and will begin at 9am in the Gateway Hall at the Alaska Zoo, and end at 1pm. There will be bird-related freebies, food and drinks for all, so don’t miss out on this great opportunity to get outside and have some unforgettable fun encouraging bird conservation.
Only a small number of birding spots are available so please contact Stephanie Hartman at (907) 341-6463 to make your reservations today! Fee is only $3 per person. Parents/chaperones are required to attend with their children.
