Storytime

Description:  Zoo volunteers and/or staff read animal-themed stories to young children and adults.  Story sessions are followed by animal encounters on zoo grounds or with handlers and education animals.  Most suitable for parents with small children.
 

Storytime is held weekly on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM in the Coffee Shop Greenhouse (or the lawn area during summer months)!

 
NOTE:  This program is open attendance, no advance registration or reservations.  All ages welcome and all supplies provided.
 

 
  • Storytime is a program series held regularly depending on season.
  • Storytime will be weekly every Wednesday at 10:30 AM all year round!
  • Storytime lasts approximately 30 - 45 minutes, including the animal encounter.
  • Children must be accompanied by adults during the program.

  Donations to help in purchasing books are welcome.
