Donations play a vital role in the Alaska Zoo.

GENERAL FUND DONATION

General Fund Donations support the daily operations of the Zoo including the care and  feeding of the animals and virtually all departments and programs.  We rely on these donations to fund about  35% of the annual operating budget of the zoo.

RENEW THE ZOO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS

The Renew the Zoo donations help fund our capital projects.  To continue to make capital improvements to Renew the Zoo, we need your support.  Current capital projects include an eagle aviary, updating our exhibit and directional signage and a possible polar bear expansion project.
