Birthday Parties

Description:  Throw a "wild" birthday party for your child and friends at the zoo!

Type: Fees:
Birthday Party (2 hours) $165 for up to 15 people ($140 for pass holders)
Summer:  2:00 - 4:00 PM $50.00 deposit required by one week in advance of party.
Winter:  1:00 - 3:00 PM Dates will not be guaranteed until deposit is received.
  Balance is due in the Coffee Shop by the end of the party.
  Animal encounter fee:  Have an animal visit your party or experience an encounter at an exhibit.  $50.00 per visit or encounter in addition to regular party fees.
  No refunds for cancellations less than 48 hours before party.
Information and Rules:
  • Winter season for parties is considered September 15 - March 31.
  • Parties will not be booked on holidays or zoo event days.
  • All party members must sign in at Admissions upon arrival.  Children must be escorted by parents to party within 20 minutes of signing in to drop off.  Parents staying past 20 minutes will be considered a party member and an additional $10 will be charged.
  • Parties are limited to 15 people due to fire regulations.
  • 1 adult for every 5 kids required.  Adults must stay with children at all times.
  • You are welcome to bring games and activities, as they are not provided by the zoo.
  • No balloons, streamers, banners, piņatas, noisemakers, or balls in the zoo.
  • We decorate the party room, so no other items may be attached to the walls.
  • Adults may purchase food in the Coffee Shop during the party.  No outside food allowed (except the cake!) due to municipal health regulations.
  • Party times are strictly adhered to, so zoo touring should be done before the party time or after the party when your items are cleared from the room.
Birthday party fees include the following services:
  • Admission to the zoo for up to 15 people
  • Use of Coffee Shop party room (2 hours)
  • Kids meal for children attending the party (animal box with toy, entree, chips, fountain drink, fruit snack)
  • Decoration of room, table cloths, animal placemats, plates, forks, and cups provided
  • We set up before you arrive and clean up after you leave!
