PASS INFORMATION AND RULES

To enter the zoo using an annual pass:
  • As of April 1, 2012, annual pass cards or a receipt of annual pass purchase must be shown at Admissions for entry to the zoo using your zoo membership.  If you do not have your card or receipt, full admission prices will apply for entry at that time.
  • Show your pass receipt for entry until you have received your pass cards.  Passes will be mailed within 2-4 weeks of purchase.  If you do not receive your pass cards within this time, call admissions to confirm your address.
  • Give the total number of people included on the pass entering at that time.
  • Improper use of your pass may result in confiscation and cancellation.  Admissions does check IDs to verify the pass is valid for the person using it, please be prepared to show ID with your pass if asked.

Youth supervision:

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  There must be one adult for every five children under 12 years old.  We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask groups to leave zoo grounds if they are out of ratio or leaving children unsupervised.

Adding additional adults or children to pass:

You may add adults or children to your pass at any time.  However, additions do not alter the original pass expiration date and the applicable fees will not be pro-rated.

Zoo events:

Zoo Boo and Zoo Lights are not free, but are discounted events for annual pass holders.  Some additional event days may also have a charge.  See individual event listings.

Lost, damaged, or worn out passes:

Pass cards can be replaced for $2 per 2 cards.  Request duplicates and pay at admissions.  Passes will be mailed in approximately 2-4 weeks.

Thank you for your support of the Alaska Zoo.
