Animal Adoptions
Our animal adoptions make great gifts for your kids, family members, co-workers, and employees. Adopt a zoo animal and contribute toward their care and enrichment!

How Do I Adopt?

Adoption Information
Adoption fees are tax-deductible donations Fees go toward the care, feeding, and enrichment of your adopted animal Anyone can adopt, including individuals or groups (classes, troops, etc.) Adoptions can be renewed from year to year for as long as you wish
Adoption Recognition The adoptive parent name will be posted on our Zoo Parents Board, located next to the OLD Gift Shop All adoptive parents will receive an adoption certificate, animal history sheet, postcard (if available), and a letter of adoption to the recipient (and purchaser if a gift), and an invitation to our Zoo Parents Night in the summer. New Recognition for 2009 Adoptions: Adoptive parents of an animal at the $200 level and above will also a receive a guided zoo tour. Adoptive parents of an animal at the $300, $500 and $1,000 levels receive all of the above plus a behind-the-scenes feeding with their animal. Their name will also be displayed near the animal enclosure. Adoptive parents of an animal at the $1,000 level receive all of the above plus a free zoo pass for one year.
