How Do I Adopt?

• Print our Adoption Request Form (PDF)

• Complete the form and mail it to us with payment

Adoption Information

• Adoption fees are tax-deductible donations
• Fees go toward the care, feeding, and enrichment of your adopted animal
• Anyone can adopt, including individuals or groups (classes, troops, etc.)
• Adoptions can be renewed from year to year for as long as you wish

Adoption Recognition

• The adoptive parent name will be posted on our Zoo Parents Board, located near the admissions gate.
• All adoptive parents will receive an adoption certificate, animal history sheet, postcard (if available), and a letter of adoption to the recipient (and purchaser if a gift), and an invitation to our Zoo Parents Night in the summer.

New Recognition for Adoptions:

• Adoptive parents at $200 level and above also a receive a guided zoo tour.
• Adoptive parents of an animal at the $300, $500 and $1,000 levels receive all of the above plus a behind-the-scenes feeding with their animal.  Their name will also be displayed near the animal enclosure.
• Adoptive parents of an animal at the $1,000 level receive all of the above plus a free zoo pass for one year.
